Abstract

Modifying the diet for the patient or treating it with a diet is an indisputable principle of ancient and modern medical science that has been in use since pre-Christian times. In medical science terms, this is called "dietary treatment". Diet has become an integral part of treatment. Religious texts of Islam contain many rules regarding diet, which reveals that Islam has given instructions for the medical needs of human beings along with the religious rules. In some places in the Holy Qur'an, there is a clear mention of diet. The large number of injunctions of the Prophet (PBUH) regarding dietary diet reinforces the position that Islam provides guidance on physical health as well as outward and inward correction. In some diseases, the Prophet (PBUH) commanded the use of special foods and forbade others. Informed people about the benefits of certain foods. If all these guidelines are combined, then a comprehensive declaration on dietary treatment can be prepared in the light of Islamic teachings. Proving this case also proves the usefulness and significance of Islam in the present age. This article will study the religious texts related to this subject and will study the adaptation of Islamic teachings with the experiments of modern medical science.
