Abstract

Ever since the dawn of human life on this planet, man has always sought to understand Nature, his own place in the scheme of creation and the purpose of life itself. Religion played a vital role in shaping the human life and aligning the socio-cultural behaviors. After the beginning of Prophetic Mission in 610 C.E., the Prophet Muhammad PBUH and his companions started preaching of Islam in Arab and beyond the Arab boundaries afterwards. During this Prophetic Mission of preaching Islam, the Holy Prophet PBUH and his companions faced different social and economical problems in order to stop this mission. Specially, in the era of Makkan life of the Holy Prophet PBUH. He adopted different strat-egies to get rid of these hurdles and problems. He also laid down basic principles in order to continue the Prophetic Mission in this scenario. A discussion is prem-editated to explore the principles set by the Holy Prophet PBUH for preaching of Islam in this scenario. In this article, a discussion about the Terminology of "Hikmah" is described along with some practical examples also.
