Benefitting from Ahl-e- Kitab in Traditions: Dimensions &Limitations

Abstract

Disciples of Islamic Sciences especially of Hadith and Seerah bestow a significant value to the primary rules for acceptance and rejection. Scholars and Debaters vary regarding to their specific view of said topic. Another question arises whether the Traditions reported by the Believers (Ahl-e-Kitab) should be accepted or not. Moreover, if the said notion is acknowledged, what would be its legal value? The foremost thing which is explained is to evaluate the parameters of "Believers". No doubt Jews and Christian come up the very touchstone of said evaluation. Besides, Sabyeen, Magus and some sundry groups line up the said evaluation. Secondly, in the context of acceptance and rejection of the traditions of Believers and Non-believers, the viewpoint of Quran o Sunnah, the Mohadasin, Religious scholars and debaters has been explored. In this paper, all aspects regarding above discussion will elaborate.
