Style and characteristics of Mufti Mehmood’s tafseer "Tafseer e Mehmood "

Abstract

Moulana Mufti Mehmood is considered to be one of the famous and the best commentators about the interpretations of the Holy Quran from Dera Ismail Khan Khyber pakhtoon khawa. He was born in Dera Ismail Khan in 1919 in Paniala District of khyber Pakhtoon Khawa. He got his early Religious Quranic Education from Molvi sher Muhammad and Maulana Sha Abdul Aziz in Khanqah yasinzai .He went for getting Higher  Religious Education to India darulaoloom e deoband and madrassa shahi muradabdad .where He received the knowledge’s of Astronomy and logic from the great Islamic scholar maulana Syed Fakhruddin Amroohi, the Famous pupil of Maulana Syed Anwar shah Kashmiri and the prison mate of Moulana Syed Husain Ahmad Madani in Malta a country consisting of island in the Mediterranean. This Tafseer Basically consist of 1600 pages .it has also a long preface and covered up in three volumes over all. The above mentioned Tafseer is the translation of Maulana Ahmad Ali Lahori and the other interpretations of Mufti Mehmood. among his work TAFSEER E MEHMOOD has its own genius work of genius personality. Millions of copies have been published under the supervision of jamait publication Lahore. This tafseer is the compilation of masterpieces of jurisprudential thoughts (fiqi Mabahises). He is termed as Faqiul milat and Mufikar Islam. In this Paper indicated at different source for my article so that readers may expand their knowledge about the Quran and tafseer. This article is only about the Tafseer Mehmood and it will also throw light in its main characteristics.
