An Analytical Study of the Islamic Concept of Ownership

Abstract

Ownership is fundamental to any economic system. That is why its importance is admitted by all economic systems of the world. By the given importance of ownership the question arises that in a society where the actions and benefits of individuals and the state are separate and such actions and benefits require property rights for them to fulfill their responsibilities and duties, here what does Islam present his point of view in balancing this conflict of individual and collective ownership. And what is the uniqueness and superiority of Islamic concept of ownership over the concept of ownership of the Capitalist system and the concept of ownership of Communism. This article explores these questions.
